Architectural volumes
A stool with an architectural volume that perfectly reflects the author's love for poetic harmony. The first version was designed by Perriand in 1927 for the dining room of his Parisian apartment, made with a tubular metal structure combined with the seat in woven rattan. In 1929 the project became part of the "Équipement intérieur d’une Habitation" exhibition at the Salon d’Automne, where it was set in the salle de bain in a version with a foam seat more suited to the personal care space. The current model is characterized by a trivalent chromed steel structure, which can be customized with different coatings including sponge, leather and classic rattan. Each piece is delivered in a practical take-away package.
