Superluna

Making his debut at Oluce, Victor Vaisilev proposes the SUPERLUNA lamp project, which originated from a personal reflection on the work of Vico Magistretti, from his ability to develop iconic shapes to enhance the potential of the light source. So, now that LEDs have revolutionized the world of artificial light by giving the possibility to reinvent the lighting bodies starting from their source, Vasilev proposes a family of lamps - declined in the floor and table type - which comes from the desire to make magical a very technical light, dimensioning the parts of the lamp starting from the size of the LED. The thin metal rod of Superluna hides the electrical components inside and guards the light source: the LED opens on the stem in correspondence with the hemispherical caps which reflect its light by rotating on its axis. The echo of the perpetual movement of celestial bodies is thus enhanced by the small luminous heart contained in the very structure of the lamp.
