The Spokes suspension lamp takes its cue from the suggestions derived from ancient oriental lanterns up to the more domestic aviaries. The realization comes from the observation of the spokes of a bicycle wheel, from which the project also takes its name which in English means spokes. The result is a lamp with a soft shape and a light volume that contains the light, letting it filter into the space. The lightness that distinguishes the project is combined with the solidity of the shape, made of metal rod, and the functionality of the LED light source, which allows both to perfectly illuminate the top and to obtain plays of light and shadows, projected on the walls with a magic multiplication effect. The development of the project in two forms, two sizes and two different chromatic variants, underlines its versatility, making Spokes particularly suitable for both residential and public spaces, finding perfect placement even in large architectural volumes, thanks to the possibility of multiple compositions.
