Complex convergence

This chair is one of the best known models among the furnishings of the Capitol Complex in Chandigarh and was found in several administrative offices of the Secretariat building. It consists of separate elements including the side supports positioned in the shape of an inverted "V" to converge to support the armrest, also in solid wood. The straw seat and backrest inside a wooden frame are instead characteristic elements of the spirit of the place, also expressed in the use of local woods such as teak. In keeping with the more famous Office Chair, the chair without armrests also uses the "V" type of supports, in this case more reduced since they do not extend to the armrest. In it, priority is given to the seat-back sequence in Viennese straw, placed in continuity and joined by two wooden profiles with a massive geometric section, elements that structure, with coplanar legs, a powerful and simple ensemble at the same time. In addition to the historic teak version, the Cassina re-edition offers two versions in natural and black stained oak.
