Boboli
Design Rodolfo Dordoni, 2016 / 2019
A tribute by Rodolfo Dordoni to the historic garden of Florence, Boboli is a symbol of culture and historical beauty that the author evokes in the shape and movement of a table with an extremely bold and refined design.
The sinuous line of the aluminum base, coordinated with the marble, lacquered glass or canaletto walnut top, gives the design a sculptural effect of great stylistic charm, aligning rigor and imagination in an authentic challenge to limits and to nature of matter. Part of the same collection created by the designer are the Boboli coffee tables to be used in the living area.

Sinuous harmony
The structure of the Boboli table stands out for its architecturally ordered geometries, supported by helical elements that pay homage to the classic Italian gardens, evoking the vertical development of the vegetation. The sinuous movement of the twisted aluminum slats gives the design a sculptural effect of great stylistic charm, where rigor and imagination come together to challenge the limits and the nature of the material. After an in-depth series of updates and reinterpretations, in 2016 Cassina fine-tuned the current configuration by improving the levels of stability and resistance to torsion, with consequent screwing of the top to the base. The construction excellence of the series is further enhanced by the new painted aluminum finishes, available in matte black, dark gold chrome, gunmetal and mud.
